Pahala Wellness Retreat
You will be staying at the Pahala Wellness Retreat. The retreat has room for one up to 5 persons There are three private rooms fully furnished with a shared bath and extra bed in the living room. There is a fully supplied kitchen, room for indoor and outdoor yoga space, and a large family room and classroom.
The retreat venue is in a small village-like neighborhood. It is stunningly beautiful and quiet. You will be close to mountains and views of the ocean below, only 15 minutes to the black sand beach with free bus transportation. The rooms are private with shared bathrooms and hot showers all year round.
Program
Enjoy a retreat from the business of life and stress. Have a refreshing time and stay longer if you choose to. You will begin with a comprehensive medical assessment interview and questionnaire with a holistic health practitioner with over 15 years of experience.
Together you will create a customized program of nutritionally balanced meals, healing treatments, exercise, and activities, Happy Healthy Pokhara Retreat offers follow-up support for lasting lifestyle changes. You will learn to manage stress and let go of negative habits that drain your energy. Have an emotional cleansing as well. Lift your spirit. This can be life-transforming if you are open to the possibility of embracing a new healthy lifestyle. Since there will be at most 6 guests and often less you will be offered a home-like experience and ample personal time with the program participants.
Daily schedule
- 08:00 Drink water upon awakening, green tea prepared with fresh lemon, ginger, and lemongrass
- 08:30 Go for a guided walk and meditation
- 09:30 Yoga and movement class
- 11:00 Breakfast of fresh fruit, yogurt, and granola or drink herb shake with vegetable or fruit juice, or a vegetable omelet with rice.
- 12:15 Classes on alternative health practices, lifestyle adjustments, learn how to apply what you have learned to your daily life when you return home, and time for questions and discussion
- 13:15 Vegetarian Lunch, stir fry, or soup.
- 13:30 – 17:00 Time to receive a massage (one massage is included in the program), (additional massages by appointment) or free time to rest, walk in nature, swim in the pool, venture into town or other recreational option – this is a time for individual counseling with Albert or Radha upon request
- 17:00 Warm vegetable soup with Nepali-style rice and vegetable salad for dinner, can request fish or fowl.
- 19:00 Group support, sharing experience of the day, counseling time, video or local musical entertainment when available
- 21:00 Meditation and teachers discourse and discussion
- 22:00 Drink juice mixed with detox herbal powder, time to sleep
Kindly note that tea, water, and fruit are available all day. Each day each guest receives individual health counseling if desired. The schedule is the same each day. Dinner is not included on the last day.
Food
You will be introduced to healthy traditional nepali foodk prepared by Radha if you like. Pahala Wellness Retreat uses organic food from their garden, as well as from a local organic farm. For breakfast, they serve your choice of fruit salad with yogurt and granola, a hot meal of eggs, rice, and toast, a vegetable stir-fry, or a fruit smoothie. Lunch is the same choice as breakfast, dinner is a large vegetable salad, vegetable soup, tofu, or a traditional dinner. You may also have barbecued organic chicken or fresh local fish.

The resident beautician offers facials, manicures, and pedicures, as well as a natural consultation to healthy beauty supplements and remedies. Prices are equivalent to the local rates in Hawaii.
